Oareo requires a LiDAR sensor and iOS 17 or later. Supported devices include iPhone 12 Pro and later Pro models (12 Pro, 13 Pro, 14 Pro, 15 Pro, 16 Pro — including Max variants), iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd gen and later), and iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th gen and later).

No. Non-Pro iPhone models (iPhone 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) do not include a LiDAR scanner, which is required for all Oareo capture workflows.

iOS 17 or later is required. Oareo uses Apple RoomPlan and ARKit capabilities that require iOS 17+.

Single Room Capture is the fastest — best for one room or small spaces. Multi-Room Capture lets you capture connected rooms one-by-one in a single session, automatically creating a Structure. Structure Creation lets you build up a property over multiple sessions using relocalization, ideal for staged projects.

A single room capture works best for spaces under approximately 1,500–2,000 sq ft. For larger areas, use Multi-Room mode to break the space into manageable rooms, which improves reliability and processing performance.

Yes, for merging to work correctly. In both Multi-Room and Structure Creation modes, rooms should share a wall, doorway, or overlapping features so Oareo can align them in the same coordinate space. Jumping to an unrelated space mid-session may cause merge failures.

Yes. With Structure Creation mode, you can add rooms over days or weeks. Each new session uses relocalization — point your device at a previously captured area and Oareo will align the new room automatically.

Oareo supports 7 formats: USDZ (AR/Apple ecosystem), OBJ (universal 3D mesh), PLY (point cloud with color), STL (3D printing), XYZ (raw point data), PDF (vector floor plan), and PNG (raster floor plan). All exports are generated on-device.

LiDAR-based measurements are typically accurate for planning and visualization workflows. However, Oareo is not a replacement for certified surveying equipment. Always validate critical dimensions independently for construction, permitting, or safety-critical decisions.

Auto-generated floor plans include room type labels (Kitchen, Bedroom, etc.), dimension lines, area calculations, walls, doors, windows, and detected furniture. You can toggle dimensions, furniture icons, scale bar, and compass, and customize wall colors.

Yes. AR Quick Look lets you place any captured Room or Structure into your real-world environment to understand scale, layout, and spatial context.

No. Oareo is offline-first. All capture processing, 3D rendering, floor plan generation, and exports happen entirely on your device. There are no Oareo-operated cloud services. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it.

No. Oareo contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising trackers, and no third-party data collection of any kind. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, or device information.

If iCloud Backup is enabled on your device, iOS may include Oareo app data in your standard Apple backup. This is controlled by your Apple account settings, not by Oareo. Oareo does not separately sync captures to any cloud storage.

Delete individual Rooms, Structures, or exports from within the app at any time. Uninstalling Oareo removes all local app data from your device permanently.
